This week I fixed my texturing issue. The problem was that I hadn't assigned each of my textures to a layer. In retrospect ,I should have realised this earlier. After resolving this issue, I began populating three different "interest areas" in the valley. These areas are heavily populated with natural assets and would act as pleasing scenery. After populating these areas I began working on the lighting. As a beginner to lighting in Unreal, I did some experimentation. At present I believe the areas need a bit more tweaking, but for a first prototype I believe I'm near to completion.
Session 2 is made with UE4 and includes these free assets packs:

- Infinity Blade: Ice Lands
